There are more than 1.2 million business, professional, and community leaders in some 33,000 Rotary clubs, worldwide. Rotary organizations can be found in more than 200 countries and geographical areas. Clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds.
Rotarians provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Through service in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world, the Rotary Club of Kennington upholds the Rotary motto; Service Above Self.

Kennington Club News
- Collection at Tesco: Members who recently arranged a Saturday collection at Tesco in Kennington raised a total of £385 towards the 'end polio now' initiative.
- My Fair Lady: Our sponsorship of one evening of the Inner City Players' production of My Fair Lady, along with the sale of raffle tickets and provision of prizes raised an amazing £1085 in aid of the Trinity Hospice. Well done to everyone who helped.
- Shelter box: Thanks to all our members, who earlier this year, contributed £600 towards a shelter box to assist the Haitian disaster.
- McMillan Cancer Care: We were pleased to donate £100 to McMillan Cancer Care in July.
